Fitbit have missed a trick here. They should have incorporated a watch. I'd be in the market for that. Don't want to wear a watch and this too.
The Force does have a watch...
Sorry - I meant a 'proper' watch - one that is always displayed and you don't have to press anything and that isn't too tiny.
Sony have managed to do this with their SW2 where the time is always displayed with minimal battery use - shame it sucks at everything else!!
Still waiting for the perfect device ....!!!!
Sounds like "First World Problems" to me.
Why not just get a watch!
Checkout the "Jaybird Reign" coming out this summer...and get yourself a watch...
You are kidding me right? Because the fitbit itself is a life saving necessity??
In the age of cell phones, tablets, etc. You want another thing that displays time? I've got a suggestion for a "proper watch", it's called a watch. It's a fitness tracker, that happens to tell the time. It's advertised as a fitness tracker, not a watch.
Not sure what you're getting so upset about.
I'm merely saying that if this is to be worn on the wrist, I'd like it to tell the time too. I do not wish to wear a watch and this. I do not wish to have to press a button to tell the time.
You may walk around with your phone and tablet strapped to your wrist to tell the time. I still use my watch to tell the time.
Upset? How can you tell exactly how I'm feeling? What I'm saying is that your pointing out that you would have a constant display to tell the time, rather than pushing a button. That would be considered a "First World Problem". I'm not upset, could not care less, it's funny.
For rest whose actually interested in a fitness tracker.. checkout the "Jaybird Reign" due to be released this summer. I was going to get the bitfit but Jaybird seems to be what Fitbit should be.. I dont want to spend $100+ and then another couple hundred in six months so I'm going to wait!
$199 price point my turn some people off, I haven't seen much info on the mobile app and desktop interface. That for the most part will be the deciding point. It does look very futuristic, I must say.
Not waterproof? What was Fitbit thinking? Surely they understand that many swim to stay fit and would like to track that activity. What a failed omission for their flagship product.
