We pick out the games guaranteed to keep you glued to your desktop, console or handheld released this year.

We're over half way through 2015 and there's been some really strong game launches (and some not so strong). Our list of top rated games this year is already at a very comfortable 13 and we've not even hit peak release season yet. Hopefully it's going to get longer and stronger.

In another major update, we've added five new games to our best games list, including Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, which we believe is the ultimate Metal Gear Solid and a fitting farewell to Hideo Kojima.

But you've also got the likes of Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, a science-fiction experience that explores a very British version of the apocalypse. Plus, you've got the celebratory Super Mario Maker - the ultimate tool for making your own Mario levels.

And there's Tearaway Unfolded and Sunless Sea too: two games that you absolutely have to play.

If you want to see what we believe can be classed as the best games of 2015 so far, then check out our collection or if you're looking to read more about a particular game, here's the line-up so far:
