Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition is slashing its way onto Nintendo Switch

Nintendo has announced that hack ‘n’ slasher Hyrule Warriors will be coming to Switch in Spring 2018.

Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition was unveiled during a surprise Nintendo Direct presentation earlier today with a brief trailer.

It will include the original Wii U title with enhanced visuals and resolution alongside all of its previously released downloadable content.

This will include a number of unique maps, missions, weapons and characters to be unlocked alongside the content found in the base game.

Earning 7/10 in our original review, Hyrule Warriors is an enjoyable slasher that does a great job of combining The Legend of Zelda with Dynasty Warriors.

‘If you love the Warriors series then you’ll love the Hyrule spin. If you’d like to try the Warriors series, then this is the most accessible place to start.’

The Definitive Edition will also include new characters from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild with their own weapons, outfits and special moves.
