You can now try out Rise of the Tomb Raider for free with the playable trial on Xbox One.
If you’re still on the fence about Lara Croft’s latest adventure, you can now give it a go for free if you own an Xbox One.
The newly released free trial can now be downloaded from the Xbox Live Marketplace, weighing in at about 20GB.
It seems the trial is essentially the full game, but you will be locked out once you progress past a certain point.
However, all your experience, skills and equipment will carry over if you decide to purchase the full game in the future.

Rise of The Tomb Raider’s failed to make a commercial impact on Xbox One, but Microsoft and Crystal Dynamics have said they are “very happy” with how the project turned out.
Which is a shame, as this is easily the best Tomb Raider title in years. The trial should give hesitant players a chance to enjoy the game without spending a penny.
