Platinum Games to develop Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game
Platinum Games has confirmed that it is to develop a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game for Activision.
It’s official. There’s a brand new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game in development at Platinum Games.
The development team, who are potentially the best action game makers out there, is currently working on a brand new TMNT game, and we couldn’t be more excited.
It seems like a similar deal to the recently released Transformers: Devastation, which was another Platinum/Activision venture.

Although it seemed Transformers: Devastation was made on a tight budget, it still managed to capture the essence of the classic 80s and 90s Transformers cartoon.
Hopefully Platinum can do the same for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
In our review of the game, we applauded Transformers Devastation for its ability to “eradicate the Bay movies from the minds of
long-time Transformers fans with Transformers: Devastation’s
presentation.”
“The game looks and sounds like the animated Generation 1
series from the 1980s, albeit with a gussied up anime sheen.”
And as for the action, Transformers Devastation delivers a “fast-paced, stylish affair that
puts a premium on light/hard combo attacks, which open up special moves
if properly executed – for example, allowing players to transform their
Autobot mid-air and ram them into their enemy.”
There’s no word on a release date or any platforms for the TMNT game.
