The open beta for Blizzard’s multiplayer shooter will take place between May 5-9 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
While it isn’t launching until May 24, fans will have plenty of time to strut their stuff in Overwatch early next month.
Those who preorder will gain early access to the beta on May 3, before it opens up for everyone on May 5.
Players can experience a number of maps, game modes and characters from the full release, including Tracer, Widowmaker and lovable gorilla, Winston.

In other Overwatch news, Tracer will soon be playable in Heroes of the Storm, Blizzard’s popular MOBA. She is planned as the first of many Overwatch characters to appear in the game.
