Moto X price cut to £360 as Moto 360 hits UK
Motorola has marked down its flagship smartphone, the Moto X, to celebrate the UK launch of the Moto 360.
The second-generation Moto X now prices up at a bargain basement £359.99.
It’s a considerable R.R.P dunk, as the relatively new smartphone usually comes with a £419.99 price tag.
If you’re keen to snap up Motorola’s latest handset then you better move quickly – the price-cut is only good for the next 24 hours.
The mark-down will kick off today at 12pm GMT, and will end at the same time tomorrow.
By no means a coincidence, the Moto 360 smartwatch is also due to go on sale in Blighty at noon today.
Motorola’s techie timepiece has long been a favourite of would-be smartwatch adopters, thanks to its round-face, minimalist design, and Android Wear OS.
That being said, it’s also received its fair share of criticism – largely due to terrible battery life.
If you’ve already forgotten what’s inside the Moto X smartphone, here’s a quick reminder.
You’re looking at a fairly beefy 5.2-inch screen with a 1080p resolution.
There’s also a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chip, with 2GB of RAM and a 2,300mAh battery in tow.
Snapping potential comes courtesy of a 13MP rear-facing camera, with a 2MP front shooter to boot.
