Set to go head-to-head with the eagerly awaited Galaxy S6, the One M8 replacement is expected to be a high-end handset both in terms of aesthetics and raw abilities.

Arguably one of the most hotly anticipated smartphones of 2015, the HTC One M9 is expected to build on its predecessor’s premium look and feel with an array of hardware improvements.

Chief among these is believed to be a serious camera refresh, with last year’s dual-lens Ultrapixel snapper to make way for a far more conventional 20-megapixel offering.

Add to this 3GB of RAM, Qualcomm’s new 64-bit, octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor and the M9 is shaping up to be a serious challenger to the mantle of market-leading smartphone.
