Android Marshmallow hits UK HTC One M8, M9 coming soon

HTC has some great news for the legions of Brits rocking the HTC One M8 and One M9 handsets; Android 6.0 Marshmallow is rolling out from today.
In a tweet posted from its official UK account on Monday, the company said it’s coming to the M8 in the next 48 hours.
Owners of 2015’s HTC One M9 handset will get it soon after.

Meanwhile, in a follow up reply, HTC admitted those with the 2014 HTC One Mini 2 won’t get the update at all.

The updates are likely to bring Marshmallow to HTC’s most recent flagship handsets before a new device is released at MWC 2016.
Availability will, naturally, be down to how quickly the various network providers can perform the necessary tests and tweaks before it is lands on individual devices.
