Bethesda has announced exactly what you’ll need in your PC to play Skyrim: Special Edition later this year.

Having originally released back in 2011 for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, The Elders Scrolls V: Skyrim wasn’t a particularly demanding title, and neither is the long-anticipated remaster.

PC players will require a half decent gaming rig to wander the snowy mountains of Skyrim this November. We’ve listed the full system requirements below:

Minimum Specs:

  • OS: Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit)
  • CPU: Intel i5-750/AMD Phenom II X4-945
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • HDD: 12 GB free space
  • GPU: Nvidia GTX 470 1 GB/AMD HD 7870 2 GB

Recommended:

  • OS: Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit)
  • CPU: Intel i5-2400/AMD FX-8320
  • RAM: 8 GB

In addition, Bethesda has revealed how much hard drive space PS4 and Xbox One owners will need to install Skyrim: Special Edition and all of its downloadable content.

Keep in mind that user-created mods will take up a little extra storage space.

PS4:

  • 20 GB (North America)
  • 33 GB (Europe)

Xbox One:

  • 17 GB (North America)
  • 25 GB (Europe)

Skyrim: Special Edition will feature a wide array of visual and mechanical improvements as well as 4K support for PS4 Pro. Mod support will also be available on all platforms.

Skyrim: Special Edition launches on October 28 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
