Acting as the next entry in the popular series, Color Splash will see Mario and Friends using a nifty Paint Hammer to restore colour to Prism Island.

By reviving Toads and using your hammer you can solve puzzles, navigate obstacles and defeat enemies in a turn-based battle system.

The last game in the franchise, Paper Mario: Sticker Star, received a lukewarm reception due to its lack of rewarding RPG elements.

With any luck, Color Splash will add a little more depth to the experience. So far, it’s shaping up to be a fun little adventure.
