Moto X (2015) seemingly outed in blurriest leak ever

Moto X blurry

We know it’s a Monday morning, but you’re not as bleary-eyed as the lead image would have you believe.

It’s actually just a really low-resolution snapshot of what might be Motorola’s next flagship, the mooted Moto X 3.

It comes courtesy of prolific rumour-spinner Upleaks, who posted the 59 x 88 pixel render to Twitter over the weekend.

We’ve blown that up to more appropriate proportions, but there’s a clear lack of detail, which makes this leak tough to verify.

Fortunately, it does offer some clues as to what we might expect to see on the much-rumoured Moto X (2015).

For a start, the flash appears to now sit below the rear camera, instead of encircling it like on the current Moto X (2014).

There also appears to be two speaker grills on the front of the device, which suggests we’ll see a stereo arrangement when the Moto X finally launches.

There’s also a circular indent on the rear of the device, mid-way up the body. This could be where Motorola places its logo, but it could also be the position for the much-rumoured fingerprint scanner.

Otherwise, there’s very little else we can ascertain from this leak. Fortunately, we’ve heard plenty of rumours about the device to quench our tech-thirst for now.

For instance, it’s expected that the Moto X (2015) will include a Snapdragon 810 chip built by Qualcomm, 4GB of RAM, a 5.2-inch QHD display, a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter to boot.

Is this the smallest leak you’ve ever seen? Let us know in the comments.
