The latest in a long line of flagship iPhone 5S and budget iPhone 5C leaks, the two handsets have been shown together with the iPhone 5S looking set to feature a form factor identical to that of its predecessor, the market leading iPhone 5.
According to the repeated Apple tipster Sonny Dickson, the latest prematurely snapped handsets mark the “most extensive iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C part leak yet.”
With a staggering 68 pictures of the two handsets on show, the latest leaked images show the iPhone 5S and plastic clad, 4-inch iPhone 5C from all angles.
With the budget iPhone 5C shown in a new blue colour scheme, the iPhone 5S has been snapped in the new gold colour that has been doing the rounds online in recent weeks.
Both as yet unconfirmed handsets are widely expected to be formally unveiled in the coming weeks, with a September 10 Apple launch event having been repeatedly tipped.
Earlier this week Tony Fadell, Apple’s former Senior Vice President of the iPod division suggested that it will be hard for Apple to enter the mid-range smartphone market given its heritage of producing high-end, luxurious products.
Speaking with TrustedReviews he stated: “It is really hard for Apple to make anything low cost, so it’s going to be really hard for them to produce a low cost iPhone.”
He added: “I think they should [make a low cost iPhone]. We made really low cost iPods so I think there is a way to make a low cost iPhone.”
Fadell, now the Founder and CEO of Nest, didn’t claim any inside knowledge, however, adding: “I hope they find it in themselves to do so but I don’t know if they will.”
