Microsoft’s Gears of War franchise has always been known for pushing the boundaries of graphical fidelity.
Now it seems The Coalition wish to set to same benchmark with Gears of War 4 later this year on the Xbox One.

Speaking to the Official Xbox Magazine, producer Rod Fergusson hopes the new installment will be a “graphical showcase” for Xbox One.
The Coalition also developed Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, and plans to emulate the silky-smooth 60fps seen in the game’s multiplayer.
"Delivering [with Ultimate Edition] the first 60fps multiplayer experience in franchise history really taught us a lot about what it means to have a 60fps culture on the team and we're leveraging that experience for Gears of War 4," Fergusson said (via Nerdleaks).
As we mentioned earlier, Ferguson believes Gears 4 could potentially repeat history, setting the same standards the original game did in 2006.
"Like how the original Gears of War was a visual showcase for the Xbox 360, Gears of War 4 will be a graphical showcase for the Xbox One," Fergusson pointed out.

Gears of War 4 multiplayer is targeting 60fps, but it isn’t clear if the single-player campaign will do the same.
Halo 5: Guardians utilised a dynamic resolution to maintain a constant framerate, so we may see a repeat of that.
Gears of War 4 is set to launch exclusively for the Xbox One in Q4 2016.
