Ubisoft CEO more excited about Ninendo NX than we’ve ever been about anything

We still don’t know anything for sure about thew Nintendo NX console, well, other than the fact Ubisoft’s boss is really, really excited about it.

Once again the French publisher’s CEO, Yves Guillemot, has waxed lyrical about the merits of the forthcoming console.

This time, speaking to French reporter Chloe Waiter, he claimed the NX could even put Nintendo back into contention with runaway leaders Sony and Microsoft.

“I believe Nintendo will be back in the race with the NX,” he said.

Just last week Guillemot told GameSpot the NX is “fantastic”.

He added: “The new Nintendo [console] is a fantastic machine. It’s really a new approach, it’s really Nintendo, [which is] coming with something new again. We love it.”

Back in July, he was at it again, claiming the NX will bring back the casual gamers.

Third-party support will be of paramount importance to Nintendo when the console eventually goes on sale before the end of March 2016.

Judging by the constant praise dished out by Ubisoft, we’re pretty sure it’s going to have the full support of one of the biggest studios in the industry.

We sure hope Guillemot is right! Share your thoughts in the comments below.
