Samsung Galaxy TabPRO S leak reveals Surface-style laptop hybrid
Images have leaked of a new Surface Pro 4-style hybrid laptop device, the Samsung Galaxy TabPRO S.
Microsoft’s Surface laptop-tablet hybrid took its time getting a foothold in the market, but it now appears to be one of the most influential tech products on the market.
Samsung could be the next major manufacturer to fall in line, judging by some freshly leaked photos provided by the ever-reliable @evleaks.

As you can see from the pictures, the Samsung Galaxy TabPRO S, as it’s known, is a large-screen Windows 10 tablet with a detachable keyboard cover. Just like Microsoft’s Surface Pro 4, then.
There’s been no elaboration from Evan Blass, the tipster behind the popular Twitter account, so we don’t know if the Samsung Galaxy TabPRO S truly is a high-end Surface Pro 4 rival or something more modest and affordable.

The latter is possible, given the extremely thin profile of the device. It’s also different from the Surface family in featuring a rear-mounted camera, which is more in line with Samsung’s Android-based tablet family than a full-on laptop hybrid.
The other question is whether the Samsung Galaxy TabPRO S will form part of Samsung’s CES presentation later tonight. Stay tuned for more as we hear it.
