Samsung Galaxy Tab S UK release date announced as July 4

Samsung has announced the Samsung Galaxy Tab S UK release date and has also revealed the pricing details for the pair of tablets.

Both the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 will be available to buy from July 4 from selected retailers like John Lewis, Carphone Warehouse and Dixons, as well as Samsung’s own Experience Stores.

The Tab S 10.5 starts at £399, while the Tab S 8.4 starts at £319 and both are available in Titanium Bronze or Dazzling White.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S Features
Both models of the Galaxy Tab S run on a Samsung Exynos 5 Octa core processor comprised of four 1.9Hz CPU cores and four 1.3GHz CPU cores and come with 3GB of RAM.

They feature a Super AMOLED display with a resolution of WQXGA 2560 x 1600p resolution, of course with differing screen sizes.

In the rear you’ll get an 8-megapixel camera with flash, paired with a 2.1-megapixel front-facing option. Internal storage options are 16GB or 32GB but this can be expanded with microSD card to an additional 128GB.

The larger Tab S 10.5 is powered by a 7,900mAh battery, while the smaller Tab S 8.4 has a 4,900mAh battery.

The Tab S models also come with Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and IR LED connectivity. There are 4G/3G alternatives to be had as well.
