Sony has revealed a new custom edition PS4 Pro to coincide with the launch of the eagerly-anticipated Spider-Man, and it sure is striking.
The limited edition ‘Amazing Red’ edition comes with the game and a matching DualShock 4 controller. It is very, very red and is emblazoned with a ginormous Spider-Man logo. And that’s fine by us.
The 1TB console will feature a physical copy of the game as well as a download voucher for The City That Never Sleeps DLC.
The bundle can be pre-ordered from today for $399 on Amazon or Best Buy in the United States. It’ll be available in the UK too, but pre-order details aren’t live yet. Spider-Man is a PS4 exclusive title and goes on sale on September 7.

The announcement comes alongside a brand-new story trailer for the visually stunning title. The 1:50 clip arrived at the San Diego Comic Con and gives us a look at the game’s new villain Silver Sable, who’s working for Mayor Norman Osborn on his re-election bid.
Osborn has hired her to stop Spider-Man (actually, “shoot him on sight), who he has dubbed an “enemy of the people.” Where have we heard that recently? Anyway, the trailer is below.
We’re absolutely pumped for the release of Spider-Man. In a preview of the game, our own Jordan King wrote: “I was blown away by a game about which I didn’t think I could get any more excited. I’d always wanted a game of my favourite superhero that really created the sense of being him in New York City, but my experience thus far has been a series of games that never quite delivered. It seems Insomniac is about to buck the trend.”
