PS4 Platinum Headset coming in January – but for how much?

Pre-orders for Sony’s PS4 Platinum Headset are now open, with the device set to launch in Europe on January 16, 2017.
The high-end gaming headset has a bunch of cool features, including 7.1 surround sound powered by 3D audio technology.
Using the same tech found in PSVR games, the headset can recognise audio coming from all directions, making for a more immersive experience in general.
In addition to all the fancy new features, the platinum headset comes with 50mm speaker drivers and a multi-positional, noise-cancelling microphone.

The headset works with all PS4 systems as well as mobile devices and PlayStation VR.
Naughty Dog displayed some of the headset’s capabilities in a recent video, showing how Nathan Drake can hear voices and noises from all directions while wearing the headset.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will support 3D audio at launch, as will Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and Days Gone.
You can now pre-order the headset from Amazon and GAME for £129.99
