Chord Mojo + Poly snaps up Portable Audio Product of the Year at Trusted Reviews Awards 2017

The incredibly innovative double-act of Chord Electronics’ Mojo + Poly has won the Trusted Reviews Award for Portable Audio Product of the Year 2017.

Improving the experience of portable listening is about way more than just headphones – something Chord was keen to prove when it launched the class-leading Mojo DAC/headphone amplifier a couple of years ago. By adding the Chord Poly to the mix, though, the Mojo is transformed into a full Hi-Res Audio player as well as a proper network streamer and music server.

This is seriously one of the cleverest pieces of hi-fi we’ve seen in years.

Just beaten out of top spot was the B&O Play Beolit 17, a portable Bluetooth speaker with awesome power but also plenty of panache. On the other end of the Bluetooth scale was our other shortlisted entry, the UE Wonderboom, which set a new standard for the sonics you can expect to hear from a waterproof speaker the size of a juicy orange and costing under £100.

The rest of the Trusted Reviews Awards categories – and there were a lot – were all announced tonight at an exclusive London shindig.
