PES 2016 demo available now

Konami has announced the PES 2016 demo is available to download and play now for free.

The Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 demo is available now for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4 and PS3, according to developer Konami.

“Download the demo now to experience the fundamental gameplay changes made to PES 2016 that are set to raise the bar once again in football games,” reads a post on the PlayStation Store.

The PES 2016 demo will allow players to check out the new 1v1 control in dribbling and the Advanced Collision System during tackling.

There’s also brand new, more intelligent Player AI to be experienced too.

Konami has stated that the duration of matches in the demo will be 7 or 10 minutes, with players able to opt from different times of day, weather settings and difficulty levels.

The demo will offer 7 playable teams: Juventus, AS Roma, Bayern Munich, Corinthians, Palmeiras, Brazil and France.

The two stadiums on offer in the demo are the Juventus Stadium and Arena Cornithians.

Meanwhile, the PES 2014 servers will be shut down on November 17, 2015. Once this happens, you won’t be able to play the game online at all.

“With PES 2016 set for release on September 15 and teh online elements of PES 2015 still hugely popular, Konami will be moving its focus to those titles,” explained Konami in a statement. “As such, all online elements of PES 2014 will no longer be supported.”

PES 2016 is due out on September 15, going head to head with FIFA 16 once more.
