OnePlus 2 Android Marshmallow upgrade coming early 2016

Ever since Google first detailed Android 6.0 Marshmallow at I/O last year, users have been keen to get their hands on the software.
Fortunately, OnePlus has detailed its rollout plans for the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system.
According to Carl Pei, OnePlus co-founder, the OnePlus 2 will receive the update in the first quarter of 2016.
“
Pei also revealed that the OnePlus One would also be receiving the update in the first quarter of 2016, although that upgrade will come courtesy of Cyanogen Inc., the creators of CyanogenMod – that’s the OS used on the OPO.
OnePlus has promised to update the community build of OxygenOS – the OnePlus custom OS – for the OnePlus One “when time allows”.

But what about the newly unveiled OnePlus X? Pei said:
“We’ve been working hard to bring Marshmallow as soon as possible to the OnePlus X, and will update you on a time frame at a later time,” explains Pei.
Unfortunately, Pei declined to provide specific dates for any of the Marshmallow updates.
