OlliOlli 2 grinds onto PS4 and PS Vita on March 3

OlliOlli 2 will grind onto PS4 and PS Vita on March 3, developer Roll7 has confirmed.

The side-scrolling successor to 2014’s OlliOlli will arrive next week, named OlliOlli 2: Welcome to Olliwood.

Just like you did before in the original indie success, Welcome to Olliwood will see you zooming through various levels on your trusty skateboard. But while you’re grinding you’ll need to try and execute some sick tricks.

The gameplay has been enhanced by the addition of ramps, jumps and what Roll7 is calling “epic hills”. These new level features allow you to grab some monster air and explore split level routes for the first time in the OlliOlli series.

The combo system has been improved too, with manuals, reverts and grind switching tricks on offer, among others.

OlliOlli 2: Welcome to Olliwood is the first to introduce a split-screen local multiplayer for up to four players.

Of course, there’s five new worlds to explore with 50 new amateur and pro levels as well as 250 new challenges to kick flip your way through.

This is a timed exclusive for PS4 and PS Vita. But it is a cross-buy and cross-save title, meaning that you get both the PS4 and PS Vita ports for the price of one. And you can swap between play on both platforms without losing your progress.
