Microsoft admits ongoing Surface Book, Surface Pro 4 issues
Microsoft says it’s continuing to work on fixes for issues experienced by early Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 adopters.
The new hardware has been beset by a variety of issues since its launch this autumn. Although Microsoft has fixed problems causing screen flickering with firmware updates, device owners continue to struggle with power management.
Some users are reporting a flaw within the hibernation settings that cause power to continue running even when the lid is closed.
In a statement given to Engadget, the company says the fixes are a “top priority” and that “dedicated engineering teams” are on the case.
“We are focused on delivering a great experience to every Surface customer,” a Microsoft spokesperson said.
