Logitech announces super-tough Logi Blok iPad case range

Logitech has unveiled the first product to bear the Logi name after its recent rebranding.

Last week Logitech announced a bold new design-led direction. The peripheral company no longer wanted to be known as “that mouse and keyboard company.”

Now the company has unveiled the first products to bear the funkier Logi brand name – the Logi Blok iPad case family.

These colourful covers are more than a way to stave off those everyday bumps and scratches. Rather, the Logi Blok case range is designed to withstand major drops onto solid concrete from heights of up to six feet or 1.8 metres.

To that end they have chunky sides and cushioned square corners made with extra-absorbent polymers.

There are three members of this new family, and the differences are fairly evident from the names. There’s the Logi Blok Protective Shell (£29.99), the Logi Block Protective Case (£49.99), and the Logi Blok Protective Keyboard Case (£99.99).

All are made with Apple’s latest and greatest tablet, the iPad Air 2, in mind, with only the basic Logi Block Protective Shell being available for the iPad Mini range.

The Protective Case adds a stand with a 50-degree range that doubles as a screen cover, while the Keyboard Case adds a wireless, attachable or detachable keyboard (complete with a dedicated row of iOS shortcut keys) that also doubles as a screen cover.

All three Bloks are available to buy now in all-black or teal and blue, while the the Protective Shell and Protective Case also come in red and violet.
