Halo: The Master Chief Collection matchmaking patch launches today
343 Industries will release the Halo: The Master Chief Collection matchmaking update later today.
According to a Halo Waypoint blog post, the patch will drop at some point mid-afternoon on Pacific Time.
For us UK Halo fans, that means an update time of some time in the late evening thanks to the eight hour time difference, although there’s no confirmation of a set time as yet.
“This particular content update addresses matchmaking performance, UI, gameplay, and title-specific issues,” reads the blog post. “We are on track for a release of mid-late afternoon Pacific Time for this content update, and will immediately let you know when it is available.”
The patch will address the matchmaking issues that have been happening with the game since launch.
It will also fix some of the user interface issues that people have been complaining of with the unique UI of The Master Chief Collection.
Apparently, there are more updates on the way for The Master Chief Collection in the near future.
“We have additional content updates on the way, and work is already underway in an effort to continue to improve your experience with Halo: The Master Chief Collection. We thank you for your continued patience and support.”
The full list of tweaks coming with the update is on the Halo Waypoint blogpost.
