FIFA 16 cover to feature Jordan Henderson
EA Sports has confirmed that the FIFA 16 cover will feature Jordan Henderson in the UK.
Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has been chosen to star on the FIFA 16 cover in the UK alongside Barcelona’s Lionel Messi.
The 25-year-old newly promoted Liverpool captain won a vote by the public to be on the cover for the game, which turned out to be the biggest mass trolling of a poll since 2010’s X Factor.
“Proud to have won the vote to be on the cover of FIFA 16,” tweeted Henderson.
In fact, he even tweeted this picture in which he looks ecstatic.

Henderson beat Man City’s Sergio Aguero, Tottenham Hotspurs striker Harry Kane and Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to be voted on the UK and Ireland version of the FIFA 16 cover.
Although he might not have been the perfect guy to grace the cover, he is the first ever Liverpool player to be on a FIFA game cover.
It was also the first time that fans have been able to vote for who they want on the cover.
The FIFA 16 release date has been set for September 25 on all platforms, apart from Nintendo.
