Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection looks damn colourful on PS4
Ubisoft has released a short new video showcasing the visual upgrades coming to all three Assassin’s Creed titles in The Ezio Collection.
The brief video features direct comparisons of each game – Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed Revelations – running on PS3 and PS4.
We’re surprised at how muddy and plain the original versions look, lacking a proper sense of scale across their vast Italian landscapes.
Sure, they blew us away only a few short years ago, but open-world design and visual fidelity has come a long way since the launch of PS4 and Xbox One.

One of the first things you’ll notice in the comparison video is how much sharper and more colourful the PS4 versions are. The draw distance has also been improved, allowing you to see further across the city as you’re bounding along rooftops.
The Ezio trilogy is a fun if inconsistent adventure that built upon the original Assassin’s Creed in some innovative ways, even if it grew repetitive overtime.
Either way, it should be a fun distraction to fill the time between now and the launch of the next entry in 2017, which we still know nothing about.
