Apple TV Plus is a yet another video streaming subscription service trying to muscle in on the established order and bring high quality content to a broader, family audience.

Steven Spielberg, who until recently decried streaming services, has resurrected anthology series Amazing Stories with his production outfit Amblin.

Dickinson

Hailee Steinfeld stars as American poet Emily Dickinson in this period drama and coming-of-age story with a modern sensibility and tone.

For All Mankind

For All Mankind is Ronald D. Moore’s answer to the question “what if the Russians beat the US to the Moon?”. The answer is the race to escalate even further into space.

The Morning Show

Described as an exploration of “the unique challenges faced by the women and men who carry out this daily televised ritual”, The Morning Show stars Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon and Steve Carell and has already been commissioned for two seasons.

Servant

Psychological thriller Servant follows a Philadelphia couple in mourning after a tragedy creates a rift in their marriage. Enter a mysterious force that inhabits their home and shakes the couple’s beliefs to their core.

 

Little America

Kumail Nanjiani spoke about growing up in Iowa (and then Chicago) after moving from Pakistan. He talked about immigrants, specifically immigrants working regular jobs and getting on with their lives. This show tells the story of those immigrants fitting into to American life.

Helpsters

Sesame Workshop and Apple have teamed up to create Helpsters, a new preschool team. Helpsters will be focusing on helping kids learn to code.
