Apple 9.7-inch iPad Pro wins Tablet of the Year at #TrustedReviewsAwards 2016
It’s awards night at TrustedReviews, and Apple has just been given the top prize in the Tablet of the Year category.
The company won for its 9.7-inch iPad Pro, beating the likes of Google’s Pixel C and Microsoft’s Surface Book, in what was a very closely contested category.
Mobile Editor, Max Parker, said: “A tough choice this, but Apple’s iPad Pro 9.7-inch is the best tablet for most people. It’s much more manageable than the original Pro, but with a load of cool bits that made that slate so good.
“The Apple Pencil is great fun, the keyboard handy when you’re out and about, and the TrueTone display is easily the best around.
“You’ve also got strong battery life and that classic Apple design. It’s a great all-round product that we use every single day.”

Apple released a smaller version of its iPad Pro earlier this year, and we were so impressed we said: “there’s no doubt this is the finest tablet Apple has ever made” – which is saying a lot considering the company’s stellar lineup of tablets.
With an improved, and frankly stunning True Tone display, all the power of its larger sibling, and what might be the best camera on a tablet we’ve ever seen, the smaller iPad Pro really does stand out among Apple’s tablets.
The 9.7-inch iPad Pro provides all the power you need from your slate in a manageable size that maintains the outstanding design Apple tablets are known for.
There’s no doubt Google and Microsoft produced some worthy opponents with the Pixel C and Surface Book respectively, but there’s also no doubt Apple’s win is well deserved.
Stay tuned for more from the Awards as they unfold.
