Microsoft has warned that Xbox One Elite Controller supplies will be limited until early December.

The Xbox One Elite Controller has proved a little hard to get hold of, and now we know why.

According to Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb, the fully customisable Xbox One pad is largely sold out across the entire world.

Although Major Nelson said that new stock is expected to hit retailers in weekly shipments, but the Elite Controller "supplies may be limited" until early December.

Since it's very unlikely that demand for games accesssories such as the Elite Controller will go down this side of Christmas, we reckon that the shortage is down to some serious supply issues.

It's tricky to guess how well the Elite Controller is selling, especially if Microsoft isn't going to give us hardware sales figures any more.

The Xbox One Elite Controller went on sale the same day as Halo 5: Guardians. It retails for £129.99 and offers a tonne of customisation options for anyone who wants the best experience for their games.

One issue puts me off this extortionately priced controller (okay, two issues)...Left stick drift. It was an a well documented source of frustration for 360 controllers & within a week of using the One I noticed the same problem while playing Pure Pool, a game where fine control showed it up when perhaps others games might have made it barely discernible.
