Immensely powerful

We've seen some leaked specs of the Motorola Droid Turbo on US network Verizon before, now this document seems to confirm them. And what specs they are.

An insider at Verizon has leaked the sales document to Phone Arena. If true, this could be the most powerful handset ever.

First up, it's no blushing violet, with a 5.2-inch QHD screen that gives it a pixel per inch count of 565ppi. That's marginally smaller than the LG G3's 2K screen, but that should make it look a little sharper.

Inside is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chip, clocked at 2.7GHz, alongside 3GB of RAM. Which is an insane amount of power.

32GB of storage comes as standard, which you'll need for storing all those photos taken with the 21-megapixel rear camera. At last, something to rival the imaging skills of the Sony Xperia Z3 and Nokia Lumia 1020.

The handset comes in black and red, and uses a new Metallized Glass Fibre (MGF) material that's reinforced with kevlar.

The 3,900mAh battery will reportedly help it last for a whopping two days before needing a charge. Juice it up for just 15 minutes, and you'll get eight hours of use from it.

The Droid Turbo is rumoured to touch down Stateside at the end of October, but we'll have to wait and see if it comes to these shores. If it does – and we sincerely hope so – expect it to have a different name, as Motorola doesn't release phones under the Droid moniker in the UK.
