Waiting for the latest update Android updates is undoubtedly one of the most frustrating aspects of declaring loyalty to Google’s mobile operating system.
However, if you’re a Samsung Galaxy S6 (or Edge variant) owner in the UK, the company is now presenting you with the opportunity to jump the queue.
The company is inviting users to set up a Samsung account (you can do it here) and download the Galaxy Care app form the Google Play store.
Then users will need to register for the Galaxy Beta Program, via the app, in order to get on the shortlist for the Marshmallow beta.
As yet, it is still unclear when the beta will roll out for successful applicants and we’re not sure whether Samsung is limiting the number of beta testers.
Samsung is yet to announce the release schedule for Android 6.0 Marshmallow update, although a purported release schedule did leak last month. Hopefully this process will speed things up a bit.
