Samsung is preparing to one-up Apple in the tablet stakes with a pair of new slates reportedly thinner than the iPad Air 2.
According to SamMobile sources, the Korean giant will release two Galaxy Tab S2 models in 8.0-inch and 9.7-inch iterations.
The reported display differ from those featured within the original Galaxy Tab S which arrived in 8.4 and 10.5-inch flavours.
The new sizes would bring Samsung into direct competition with the Apple iPad models, which are available in 7.9- and 9.7-inches.
