Overwatch is getting another free weekend this month

Blizzard Entertainment has announced a free weekend for Overwatch set to take place from November 17 until November 20.

Coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC, the upcoming trial will provide new players access to all heroes, maps and modes. Progress will also carry over to the full experience.

Blizzard may be using this free weekend to promote the release of Moira, a new support hero currently playable in the public test realm servers on PC.

It’s a possibility that her full release will be announced for later this month, giving players an opportunity to try their hand at the new character without spending a penny.

Moira is an excellent hero for the Overwatch universe both in terms of being fun to play and adding plenty to the expanding lore. We had a chance to play with her at Blizzcon 2017, here’s what we thought!:

‘Moira is already a solid addition to the Overwatch universe, making a great first impression with her fantastic character design and satisfying list of skills. While some of her repertoire could use further refinement, I’m excited to see how players respond once she arrives.’

Overwatch has received an assortment of free heroes, updates and cosmetic items since its release in May 2016. Here’s hoping we’ll see plenty more in the future!
