Wet and wild

This portable charger is no delicate flower. It's rated IP67, which means it's waterproof, dustproof, and shockproof. It'll take anything you can throw at it, and come up screaming for more.

If you're taking a trip to the great outdoors and want to make sure you don't run out of juice, this is the charger for you. Its rugged rubberised casing is built for the elements, and will take water, drops, dust and sand all on the chin.

The charger comes in three sizes. The Kodiak Mini 2200 is the smallest. As the name suggests, it has a 2,200mAh battery, and it's only 82mm tall. That's shorter than most smartphones. Open the waterproof seal, and you'll see a USB out port and a microUSB port.

The Kodiak 6000 is a step up. Its 6,000mAh battery can charge an iPad "many times over" according to the manufacturers. At 100mm tall, it's still shorter than an iPhone 6. Again, it features microUSB and USB ports.

The Kodiak Plus 10000 is the big daddy. Its 10,000mAh battery has almost twice as much power as the Kodiak 6000, and its dual USB ports can charge two devices at once. It's a little taller, at 129.5mm, but still small enough to fit in the pocket of your winter coat.

Each comes in black, green, camo, red and blue. A select number of Kodiak 6000 are expected to ship in December, but the rest will be available in March next year. For more, check out the Indiegogo page.
