Sporting a 7.6mm thick design identical to that of the iPhone 5, the iPhone 5S specs sheet sees a number of improvements of the former flagship offering.

Making the jump to a quad-core A7 processor, said to be 50 per cent faster than the A6 CPU, the iPhone 5S features list is further enhanced by a revised 8-megapixel camera, iOS 7 and the security enhancing Touch ID fingerprint scanner.

Set to be made available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage capacities, the iPhone 5S price has been set at £549, £629 and £709 respectively. The iPhone 5S release date has been set as September 20.
