Olloclip is the name to beat when it comes to clip-on lenses for your smartphone, which is pretty big for a company with humble Kickstarter beginnings.
Well the start-up is back for round-two, and this time it’s peddling an entire smartphone photography suite called Olloclip Studio.
What’s more, the company is making a return to Kickstarter to launch its latest product, in hopes of mimicking the original Olloclip’s success.
The OlloClip Studio system is centred around a smartphone case that’s got a rail-mounting system on the back.
So what sort of accessories are we talking here? There’s a ‘finger grip’, two tripod mounts, two cold-shoe adapters for a mic or light, and a kickstand.
“When we set out to design the integrated accessories, we went back to the basics and looked at the variety of ways people hold their phones,” explains Chong pak, Olloclip’s director of design.
He continued: “From this research, we created the simplest and most intuitive way to grip your phone, enabling you to be more immersed in the capture process than ever before.”

The Kickstarter project went live this morning, and has already racked up $4,290 (£2,743) of its $100,000 (£64,000) goal with 30 days to go.
If you want to bag an Olloclip Studio, you’ll need to muster up at least $35 (£22) – that’s a discount on the ‘anticipated retail value’ of $49.99 (£32).
