Ahead of the September 26 FIFA 15 release date, publisher EA Sports has made the first FIFA 15 demo available to download and play.

Landing a little over a fortnight ahead of the game’s formal release, the playable FIFA 15 demo landed for Xbox One gamers yesterday, September 9.

Having previously confirmed that PC, PS3, Xbox 360 and PS4 FIFA 15 demos would be available at a later date, those who own Sony’s consoles are now able to play pre-release offering..

Taking to Twitter, EA announced: “#FIFA15Demo is out now on PS4 and PS3 in Europe. Get on the pitch!”

Regarding the demo’s PC release, a spokesperson added: “We will let you know times as soon as we know them.”

Allowing eager gamers to lace up their virtual boots and take to the pitch ahead of the first whistle, the FIFA 15 demo gives an early taste of what’s to come from the upcoming release.

Letting you play as two of the Premier League’s finest, launching the demo sees a match between Liverpool and Manchester City kick off.  As well as the pre-release gameplay options letting you play full games, the FIFA 15 demo offers the first taste of the game’s Ultimate Team mode.

This mode features a number of pre-made squads made up of the world’s best players.

FIFA 15 is set to benefit from a number of gameplay improvements, all designed to offer a more true-to-life experience. From improved ball physics and player emotions to evolving pitches and crowd reactions, FIFA 15 has the lot.

A FIFA 15 release date has been pencilled in for September 26, with the game coming to all leading current and past-gen consoles, as well as PC. It will go head-to-head with PES 2015 for football supremacy.
