Microsoft has announced that there will be an Xbox One Call of Duty: Ghosts bundle available at launch, offering exclusive content.
Xbox One gamers will be able to access special bonus exclusive Call of Duty: Ghosts content contained within the bundle.
Currently only arriving in European markets, the Call of Duty: Ghosts bundle will include a download code for a full version of the game, complete with a host of Xbox One exclusive content.
Although, no exact details on the content have been released, we expect it will come in the form of a multiplayer map, weapon assortment or player skin. There’s no pricing details for the Call of Duty: Ghosts bundle yet either.
During the Xbox One unveiling, it was revealed that Microsoft’s next-generation console would receive Call of Duty: Ghosts DLC before the PS4. This was also reiterated in yesterday’s Xbox One game sizzle trailer.
Also shown off during its Gamescom conference, Microsoft and Activision unveiled a new Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer mode called Blitz. Similar to Capture the Flag, gamers will be required to fight their way to the opposition’s capture points.
In addition, Microsoft has explained that Call of Duty: Ghosts will be given dedicated servers on the Xbox One.
Utilising the Xbox One’s new cloud gaming platform, Microsoft is introducing dedicated Xbox One servers which will mean better online gaming for COD fans.
This will depart from the usual system of player hosted multiplayer matches, with Microsoft hosting the matches themselves for increased reliability and connection speed.
Call of Duty: Ghosts will be released on Xbox 360, Wii U, PC and PS3 on November 5. It will be a launch title for the PS4 and Xbox One as well.
