Windows 10 Xbox One dashboard shown off in new video
Microsoft has shown off the new Windows 10 powered Xbox One dashboard in a brand new video.
If you’re excited about the big changes coming to Xbox One this autumn, then you’ll be pleased to hear Microsoft is giving you a good look at the brand new UI – particularly its new home screen.
It’s been totally redesigned to make it less cluttered and more intuitive, which is far more user-friendly than the current navigation experience.
The video, narrated by Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb and Richard Irving from Microsoft’s Engineering team, showcases the new verticality of the UI, which is entirely built on Windows 10.

At the top there’s your currently playing content, with your other recently accessed content underneath – incorporating the new Game Hubs into that listing.
Right at the bottom, you’ll find all your pinned content, which is now easily accessible by pulling the right trigger on the home screen.
The New Xbox One Experience is considered to be a major Xbox One revamp, with the update supposedly due to launch on November 12.
That date has been prompted by the Xbox One backwards compatibility launch, which is scheduled for the same day.
Microsoft has said there should be over 100 games supported by the new Xbox One backwards compatibility feature, with “hundreds” launching soon after.
Plus, all future Xbox 360 Games with Gold titles will also be backwards compatible.
The initial launch line-up can be viewed on the Xbox website.
