Will Samsung’s rumoured Veyron flip phone be better than the Galaxy S7?
While we in the UK are yet to see a quality modern flip phone hit the market, China has been provided with several models in recent years.
But this latest rumoured handset from Samsung appears to be the best yet, according to ‘leaked’ benchmarks which hit Geekbench and Antutu recently.
And the W2017 phone, codenamed Veyron, looks to be somewhat of a powerhouse when it comes to performance, all but matching the Galaxy S7, and S7 Edge in terms of hardware.
But, according to the latest information, it will also come with a second screen on the exterior, making this even more of an attractive offering from Samsung.

Acoording to the leaked stats, the Veyron will come with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, 4GB RAM, and 64GB of internal storage.
Elsewhere, the phone is said to come with a Full HD 4.2-inch display, while graphics will be handled by the Adreno 530 GPU.
And although there were no battery specs released as part of this latest leak, the previous model, the W2016, included a 2,000mAh power pack, so expect something similar this time around.
Finally,
That’s not to say an update won’t be made available after launch, however, which could be happening soon if the leaked Antutu and Geekbench stats are authentic.
Samsung is yet to confirm the handset’s existence, but we’re expecting to hear more very soon. And although it’s unlikely the phone will launch outside of China, we can’t help but hope Samsung is considering a more comprehensive launch this time around.
