Virgin Media adds cloud media access to TiVo box

Virgin Media is added a new feature that allows customers to access media stored in the cloud on their TiVo boxes.
The launch of the Virgin Media Cloud TiVo app means that customers can look at photos, listen to music, and watch personal videos stored in its own Virgin Media Cloud service on their living room boxes. You can simply use the remote control to navigate through all of your content.
In case you weren’t aware, each member of a Virgin Media household gets access to 5GB of free cloud storage, and you can pay for additional storage space. £3.99 gets you 50GB, £5.99 gets you 100 GB, £13.99 gets you 250GB, and £26.99 will get you a whopping 500GB of cloud storage.
The service works like any other cloud storage provision from more established companies. You can opt to automatically back up photos to the cloud from your devices, or just send through files manually as you wish.

There have been apps for iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac for some time now, but the latest version has also brought support for Windows Phone.
To view your cloud-stored content on your TiVo box simply head to the Apps section from the home page and select the Virgin Media Cloud app. Assuming you’ve already signed up for your free Virgin Media Cloud account, simply log in and you’re away.
