Star Wars Classic Skin Pack now available for Minecraft on Xbox One and Xbox 360

As the galaxy awaits the first Star Wars Episode VII teaser trailer with baited breath, Microsoft, Disney and Lucasfilm have come up with something for Xbox owners to do to pass the time until Friday.
From today, Minecraft gamers can download the new Star Wars Classic Skin Pack for Minecraft on Xbox One and Xbox 360.
The DLC, which costs $2.99, features 55 classic characters from the original trilogy, enabling Minecraft gamers to play as the likes of Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Han Solo and company.
Of course, the building materials are all in place for Star Wars fans to rebuild planets like Tatooine, Hoth and Yoda’s swampy home on Dagobah in their very own blocky, 8-bit image and recreate classic scenes from Episode’s IV to VI.
The pack also features seven iterations of Luke, three Hans, and six different versions of Leia so you can get in on that Jabba’s Palace action, with everyone in the right garb. Unfortunately for Darth, he looks the same throughout.
In a post on the Xbox Wire blog, Microsoft wrote: “Starting today, the Star Wars Classic Skin Pack will be available for Minecraft only on Xbox One and Xbox 360. Disney, Lucasfilm and Microsoft have teamed up to bring downloadable content packs to Minecraft for Xbox, featuring a collection of 55 skins from Episode IV through Episode VI.
“
The launch of the Star Wars DLC exclusively on Xbox is the first example of Microsoft making use of its $2 billion purchase of the Minecraft franchise earlier the year. The 8.84MB download is available now.
