Sonic and Pac-Man on Xbox One? Now that’s serious backwards compatibility

Microsoft has announced the newest wave of backwards compatible games for Xbox One and among them are two of gaming’s most iconic names; Sonic and Pac-Man.

The newer Sonic The Hedgehog 4 (episodes 1 & 2) games for Xbox 360, can now be played on the new-gen console too.

Joining them is Pac-Man museum from Namco, which features nine titles from the archives. To continue the retro theme, the Capcom Arcade Cabinet is also available.

Rounding out the list of eight new games are Bionic Commando Rearmed 2, Crystal Defenders, Fret Nice and NeoGeo Battle Museum.
