Sniper Elite 4 announced for PS4, Xbox One and PC
Sniper Elite 4 will launch in 2016 for consoles and PC, Rebellion Studios has confirmed.
The upcoming sequel will begin during the “immediate aftermath” of 2014’s Sniper Elite 3, which took place during World War II.
Sniper Elite 4 will see the player exploring WW2 Italy as Karl Fairburne, an “elite marksman” fighting alongside the Italian Resistance.
You will play a crucial role in shaping Europe’s victory, taking out high priority targets to change the tide of battle.
“If his mission fails, there will be no Operation Overlord, no D-Day landing, and no victory in Europe,” Rebellion said yesterday.

The game will take players to vast Mediterranean coastal towns and “colossal” Nazi facilities you will be expected to infiltrate and destroy.
Details are sparse, but Rebellion has said the map size will be “three times larger” than Sniper Elite 3.
Sniper Elite 4 will run at a native 1080p resolution on PS4 and Xbox One, operating “without the constraints” of last generation hardware.
