Samsung has announced that its Android OS running CSC camera, the Samsung Galaxy NX, is now available to purchase in the UK.
Allowing on the go 3G and 4G connectivity, the Galaxy NX allows its users to share the images taken using the 20.3-megapixel APS-C sensor.
Available today from Jessops, Samsung has said that other online and high street retailers will stock the Galaxy NX soon.
Last month, Samsung revealed that the Samsung Galaxy NX will set you back £1,299, so you’ll have to start saving if you fancy buying one.
“We’re excited to introduce the Samsung Galaxy NX to the UK market, offering our customers the chance to experience a premium device that boasts best-in-class image quality with the ease-of-use and speed of 4G capabilities with Android,” said Simon Standford, VP of the IT And Mobile Division at Samsung UK and Ireland.
Samsung Galaxy NX Features
The Samsung Galaxy NX is the first CSC camera to pack 4G LTE connectivity, which allows users to share their photos wherever they are. With a 20.3-megapixel APS-C sensor and a DRIMe 4 Image Signal Processor, the Galaxy NX is said to be capable of taking great quality pictures at speed, even in low light conditions.
Running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean on a 1.6GHz quad-core processor, 2G of RAM and 4,360mAh battery, users can install Android photography apps onto the Galaxy NX and benefit from some of Samsung’s own. The Galaxy NX comes with Story Album, one of the photography apps introduced by the flagship Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone, as well as Photo Suggest, which offers location-based suggestions for popular shots taken by other photographers.
With a 4.8-inch HD LCD display, the Galaxy NX has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G and 4G connectivity.
