The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite, the much mooted budget sibling to the flagship Samsung Galaxy Note 3, will drop to a 720 pixel HD display, latest reports have suggested.
While the existing high-end Note 3 plays host to a 5.7-inch 1080p Full HD Super AMOLED display, the heavily rumoured ‘Lite’ version of the market leading phablet will reportedly feature a more basic array of specs, including a 720p panel.

Tipped for launch in a matter of weeks, these latest Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite details have surfaced via a leaked user agent profile for the teased handset.
As well as a reduced pixel density, the Lite’s screen will also reportedly make the jump from AMOLED to LCD as the Korean manufacturer looks to keep the phone’s costs down.
Elsewhere, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite specs sheet will see an 8-megapixel primary camera replace the full Note 3’s impressive 13-megapixel offering.
Although no official pricing has as yet been confirmed, it is widely believed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite will be the manufacturer’s first attempt at a more consumer accessible phablet device, targeting a more mid-range as opposed to high-end price point.
According to further recent Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite rumours, the handset will be officially showcased during MWC 2014 next month.
