PlayStation VR’s Battlezone will come with 4-player co-op

We’re less than a month away from the official release of PlayStation VR and anticipation is high for the launch.
And if you’re excited to give the new VR headset a try, you’ll be pleased to know you can now do so with your mates, if you’re planning on sampling launch title Battlezone.
Developer Rebellion has announced the upcoming virtual reality tank shooter will come with 4-player campaign co-op.

The game promises to deliver “virtual reality tank warfare across expansive neo-retro landscapes,” which sounds pretty confusing but basically sounds like you’ll be able to blow up your friends with tanks.
Of course, that’s not the idea here. Co-op play means you’ll be able to take on the game’s campaign mode as part of a gang, which we’re sure is equally as fun.
If you want to get more of an idea of what Battlezone is all about, the developers have released the following trailer which gives a detailed breakdown.
We’ve tried Battlezone and can confirm it’s a lot of fun, which makes today’s announcement even more exciting.
Battlezone launches on October 13 exclusively on PlayStation VR.
