Pandora Plus is half the price of Spotify and Apple Music, but won’t worry either
US streaming service Pandora has announced its long-rumored new subscription service, which will be available for half the price of Apple Music and Spotify.
The Pandora Plus service is an extension of the firm’s personalized radio style offering, but subscribers will have unlimited skips, ad-free listening, the ability to replay songs and save music offline.
There’s still no opportunity to select individual albums or songs, so this is a middle-ground between the current offering and full-on streaming services.

Free users will also see a boost to their service. They’ll be able to earn more skips by watching ads.
The company is reportedly still planning to release a full-on $10 a month competitor to the streaming big hitters later this year.
Despite its huge and long-standing domestic following, Pandora is yet to launch in the UK and Europe.
In our experiences using Pandora across the pond, it’s a decent way to listen to your favorite genres and curate great playlists, but you can’t be too discerning.
Too many skips and you end up with the same eight 90s pop punk songs in a playlist.
